CONTINUE?9876543210 (iOS & STEAM)

BY JASON ODA

There might be a limbo for dead videogame characters to go through after being purged from your computer (have not seen any evidence to contradict this), but if there isn't, Continue?9876543210 does a pretty amazing job of simulating it. Can you hide out long enough to make your way through computer purgatory in your quest to make peace with your own existence?

Perfect for: Curious gamers, BioShock: Infinite apologists, ontological scholars

Playtime: A few hours ... or eternity

SNEAKY CARDS (PRINT-N-PLAY)

BY HARRY LEE, CODY BORST, AND MANY OTHERS

Sneaky Cards is part Pay It Forward, part Whose Line is it Anyway, and part Saw. Over 60 cards lay out different scenarios for you to deal with. Maybe you'll have a green card that commands you to pre-pay for an item in the vending machine and then leave the card in the money slot. Maybe you'll get one of the dreaded blue cards. There's no better way to get to know the new coworkers than trying to convince one of them to, please, just listen to what this blue card says: trade me a hug for it.

Perfect for: Large communities, ultra-competitive households, casual Neptune's Pride fans

Playtime: As long as friends are willing

SKYDRIFT (iOS)

BY TYSON KUBOTA

Ever have that one where you're falling? Yeah: that's Skydrift, a seemingly endless, guided plummet from the heavens to the earth's core. That it makes this journey so convincing on the tiniest of devices is tribute to the game's sense of architecture, which interweaves the organic with the man-made. Ever have that one where you're falling through a windmill made of glaciers? You will.

Perfect for: Skydivers, dream analysts, tilt-control aficionados

Playtime: Four medium-length plunges
